Plate heat exchangers are an innovative product of Co.Ma. Spa regarding this type of exchangers.

Thanks to the ripple of the channels, the mixing in the boundary layers of the fluid improves, which consequently increases the heat transfer. These products allow quick and very simple cleaning with a jet of steam or with the use of pressure washers thanks also to the smooth and flat surface of the plates. This allows for low maintenance costs.

The thermal energy of these plate heat exchangers is exchanged through the panels which allow the energy flows to be kept separate. Their main use is in air conditioning and ventilation systems including heat recovery systems in large spaces such as: canteens, hospitals or in the food industry.

The modularity of this type of product allows positioning in series, thus creating a counter-current exchange system. This creates an efficient system with peaks of 90% and with lower costs than other types of exchangers.

The plates of this product have a smooth surface that can be cleaned quickly and effectively with a jet of steam or using pressure washers, thus having significantly lower maintenance costs than other products.
