The Smooth Tube and Plate Coils are produced by Coma Spa with selected materials for total operation in the presence of very high temperatures, unclean air, with high pressures or with the need for immersion.

Cross-flow tube heat exchangers are designed for equipment that requires heat to pass through two air streams without these streams coming into contact with each other.

Compared to other products, such as finned pack or tube coils, in smooth tube coils the thermal energy is exchanged through small smooth tubes, normally made of stainless steel. The diameter and thickness can vary according to customer requirements.

In these unique products of Co.Ma. Spa the tubes are associated with the tubesheets to guarantee a seal and a stable yield up to 99%, this is made possible thanks to a certified mechanical expansion process. Furthermore, these products are ergonomic to allow effective cleaning, both manually and through automatic systems.

Smooth tube coils are the perfect solution, also considering economic savings, for recovering thermal energy from air that has a dirty percentage such as construction sites, industrial kitchens or foundries, in order to create clean air for preheating.

To increase energy efficiency levels, it is possible to change the length of the pipes by also varying the number of cross-flow exchanges outside the pipes.
